Product Description and Uses

DTC-1 is a long-chain polymeric organic sulfur compound, classified as a grafted dithiocarbamate. It contains a large number of polar groups and has a large sulfur ion radius, resulting in the formation of large floc particles that are easy to precipitate. Within a specific pH range, DTC-1 can extract heavy metals from complexes, forming stable insoluble substances.

The chelation strength order of DTC-1 heavy metal chelating agent for various metal ions is as follows:

Hg²⁺>Ag⁺>Cu²⁺>Pb²⁺>Cd²⁺>Zn²⁺>Ni²⁺>Cr³⁺>Fe²⁺>Mn²⁺

Dosage and Usage Requirements

To achieve optimal results, a beaker test should be conducted prior to use to determine the dosage.

Wastewater with excessive copper: First adjust the pH of the wastewater to alkaline, divide it into several portions, add different amounts of DTC-1 to each, mix thoroughly, then add coagulant and flocculant. After allowing it to settle for a period, take the supernatant to measure the copper content and determine the dosage of DTC-1.

Wastewater with excessive nickel: First adjust the pH of the wastewater to weakly acidic or alkaline, divide it into several portions, add different amounts of DTC-1 to each, mix thoroughly, then adjust the pH to alkaline. Next, add coagulant and flocculant. After allowing it to settle for a period, take the supernatant to measure the nickel content and determine the dosage of DTC-1.

Wastewater with other excessive heavy metals: It is recommended to conduct orthogonal experiments to determine the dosage of DTC-1.

Packaging Specifications

The liquid is packaged in HDPE chemical drums or IBC totes. Conventional packaging is 25KG/drum or 1000KG/drum.
